First ECRA Chair Event : International Scientific Event – 26/11/2014
On the Wednesday 26 of November 2014, the ECRA Academic Chair organized its First Scientific Event entitled « From CO2 to Energy – CO2 capture and reuse in the cement industry ». More than 80 participants from both industry and academic world, and representing aroung 20 different countires (BeNeLux, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Japan, …) took part to this event with high level presentations, given by international academic and industrial experts, such as from the European Commission.

September 2014: ECRA Award
Since the Academic Year 2013-2014, an ECRA Prize is awarded to reward the best Project or Master Thesis on a subject related to the CO2 capture or reuse, or any new development applicable to the cement industry. Sophie Maerten and Marvin Baker shared the first prize awarded in September 2014 at the Polytech Mons Day.
